The Inter-American Commission on Human Rights and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights are the organs originated from the OAS Charter, but also from the American Declaration of the Rights and Duties of Man and the American Convention on Human Rights. European Court of Human Rights
In Europe the European Court of Human Rights is the main institution that deals with human rights in Europe. The European Court was set up under the European Convention on Human Rights of 1950. The objective was to monitor compliance by State Parties. Read more>>
