Progress in implementation of the recommendations of the TRC

Various associations organise a Regional Forum on the theme "Progress in implementing the recommendations of the TRC ' on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the publication of the TRC Final Report

The purpose of this forum is to assess progress and difficulties found in the implementation of the recommendations of the TRC up to specific date. The Final Report of the TRC was handed over to the Peruvian state authorities on August 28, 2003.

The associations involved in the preparation and organization of this forum are Asociación Paz y Esperanza, Asociación Pro Derechos Humanos APRODEH y la Coordinadora Regional de Organización de Afectados por la Violencia Política de Ayacucho- CORAVIP Ayacucho.

The central themes of this forum will be repairation and judicialization, both very important in cases of enforced disappearance.
