France: Ratification of the International Convention for the Protection against Enforced Disappearances

Latest ratification of the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance has come from France, during the Treaty Event.

Last week in the UN General Assembly in New York, Secretary of State Rama Yade deposited France's instruments of ratification of the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance.

The ratification of France was deposited during the Treaty Event. This event is organised every year with the purpose of  providing an opportunity for the States to demonstrate their continuing commitment to the central role of the rule of law in international relations.

Also Bulgaria signed the  International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance during the same event.
