311 disappearances have been denounced, and they all remain outstanding.

18.000 according with the Human Rights organisation CLDH
Context
According to the UNWGEID the majority of the cases reported occurred in the period in between 1982 and 1985 in the context of the Lebanese civil war. Members of the Phalangist Militia, the Lebanese army or its security forces are described as allegedly responsible for these disappearances. The NGO CLDH reports a number of disappearances of 18.000, being caused by several conflicts that have taken place in the last 20 years. According to CLDH some people are still arbitrarily held in Israel and Syria.
