Guatemalan programme 'Todos por el reencuentrol' gets recognition

The organisation 'Liga de Higiene Mental' and families of the disappeared who collaborate on the programme 'Todos por el Reencuentro' received recognition from the Presidential Commission of Human Rights.

On Thursday 28th of August the Chairwoman of the Presitential Commission of Human Rights, Ruth del Valle, delivered a replica of the Peace Monument to the organisation 'Liga de Higiene Mental' and family members of the disappeared as a recognition to the work that has been carried out for the last ten years in the programme 'Todos por el Reencuentro.

The objective of the programme 'Todos por el reencuentro' is to find out the truth about children who disappeared because of the intern conflict.

On the same ocassion and as manner of recognition from the family members of the disappeared, Marco Antonio Garavito (Coordinator of the Programme 'Todos por el Reencuentro') received a pin that accredits him as Peace Embassador in Guatemala.
