Manuel Cordero extradited to Argentina

The retired Uruguayan colonel Manuel Cordero Piacentini, who was allegedly responsible for ten enforced disappearances, among other crimes including torture and murder, was extradited on January 23 from Brazil to Argentina to face trial here.
