Nepal: Committee for Social Justice proposes amendments to the Bill of Disappearances

The organisation Committee for Social Justice (CSJ) has submitted to the government a list of amendments to the Bill of Disappearance. These changes would protect the victims and prevent new cases of disappearances in the future. Please continue reading the list of amendments proposed.

This proposal was written in collaboration between the following organisations: Committee for Social justice (CSJ), Conflict victims committee (CVC), Families of the Disappeared National Network (FDNN), Solidarity Campaign for Justice (SOCAJ), Conflict Victim's Society for Justice (CVSJ), Advocacy Forum, SANGYA, Human Rights and Democratic Forum.

In the process, International Center for Transitional Justice (ICTJ), International Commission of Jurist (ICJ) and Amnesty International also were involved in the team work.
