New Manual: Using Law against Enforced Disappearances
“Using Law against Enforced Disappearances” is the title of a practical guide for relatives of disappeared persons and NGO’s. This manual offers an easy-to read, step-by-step presentation of the legal dimensions of enforced disappearances, of the international law instruments and mechanisms, and of the means for relatives to use those mechanisms in their struggle.
This manual was drafted, with assistance of some experts, by staff of the programme Linking Solidarity of Aim for human rights. Copies printed in English, Spanish, French, Russian and Arabic will be handed out to associations of families of disappeared persons in the upcoming month.
The manual is also available in its digital version here. If you would like to have a printed copy, or give your comments and ideas, please send us an email to info@ediec.org
