Turkey: Ergenekon a crime against humanity

The article linked here is a reflection about the cases of enforced disappearances in Turkey with the occasion of the Week of Disappeared Persons. During the 1990s almost 1,800 members of the PKK (Kurdistan Workers' Party) disappeared. It is only the investigation in Ergenekon that is revealing the need of finding the truth about these disappearances. The journalist Ayse Karabat also calls for the ratification of the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearances by Turkey.
