Context
The case denounced to the UNWGEID concerns a person disappeared in Japan in 1977. This enforced disappearance seems to have been executed by agents of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. The victim was abducted in Japan. This is the only one of nine cases of Japanese citizens disappeared reported to the UNWGEID, which hasn't been acknowledged by the authorities of the Democratic people's Republic of Korea.
