| According to the family member organisation AFADEM disappearances became a normal practice in the 60s during the PRI government which became increasingly authoritarian and at times oppressive. Enforced disappearances are executed mostly by the National Security, also known as the White Brigade (Brigada Blanca) known to be trained by the US army. |
